Bayer Healthcare LLC licenses Vision Chain Inc.'s technology platform to analyze store-specific sales, assortments, prices, promotions and other factors to optimize go-to-market efforts with multiple retailers.
 
Bayer sells a portfolio of products that lead consumers around the globe toward healthier lives. With products like blood glucose meters, aspirin, and cough and cold remedies, Bayer's portfolio is at once both seasonal and geographical -- where the demographic attributes of shoppers will drive the type of analgesic or other portfolio products best to be displayed to shoppers. In such a varied product portfolio, types of analytics shift, and need to handle global changes in demand, seasonal spikes, store-specific assortments, mixed pallets and aggressive promotion analytics.
