CG Community Raises Over $8K for Charity

Have you ever wanted to be on a game show? Well, members of the consumer goods (CG) community had the chance! Just like the famous Family Feud game show, during the 17th annual Consumer Goods Business & Technology Leadership Conference (CGBTLC), attendees had the opportunity to be part of a "family" to compete and win bragging rights on pop culture and CG industry questions.
 
Not only was it fun and engaging, but executives within the community gave back to a great cause! All of the proceeds raised during the event went to the Retail Orphan Initiative (RetailROI) to help them in their mission to raise awareness and provide real help to the more than 400 million vulnerable children worldwide, as well as 4Kids of South Florida, which provides seed funding to help recruit foster parents and setup structure.
 
During the golf outing at the Conference, attendees also had a chance to make donations through the purchase of mulligans, while CGT also donated funds in the name of each speaker during the Conference. While the event was all fun and games for attendees, RetailROI and 4Kids of South Florida are the true winners in the end.
