Former Frito-Lay Supply Chain Leader to Join IDC Retail Insights

A six-sigma green belt, Victoria Brown joins IDC Retail Insights  as Senior Research Analyst, Retail Supply Chain. In this new role, Brown will spearhead the supply chain research program, covering critical topics such as  inventory management, warehouse management, logistics and omni-channel distributed order orchestration to support IT leaders at top retailers around the globe. Most recently, Brown served as a supply chain leader, overseeing load balance and tracking distribution channels for the 3rd largest plant in Frito-Lay North America.  

With a MS in Operations Design, Concentrating in Supply Chain Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Brown’s research will complement IDC Retail Insights’ existing coverage of the supply chain. Planned research includes: IDC Maturity Models, IDC MaturityScape Benchmarks, IDC MarketScapes and IDC PeerScapes on inventory management, warehouse management, logistics and omni-channel distributed order orchestration. Previously, Brown held supply chain positions at VistaPrint and Procter & Gamble, honing her keen understanding of the supply chain and the critical technologies necessary to effectively execute supply chain operations in today’s transformative retail environment.
