TOMY International Names CMO

TOMY International (www.tomy.com) announces the promotion of Willie Wilkov to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the company. The Board of Directors of TOMY Company, Ltd. has approved this appointment, as the position of Chief Marketing Officer has been vacant since mid-2013.

Wilkov joined the company in 2009 as Vice President, Marketing Communications, rising to Senior Vice President, Marketing Communications and Branding in 2013. As CMO, Wilkov will be responsible for the company's corporate identity as well as working closely with key licensing partners of TOMY. He will continue to spearhead all marketing communications initiatives, including the company's innovative consumer, trade and brand marketing campaigns, as well as oversee consumer insights and creative services for both the toy and infant brands across the organization.

Prior to his role at TOMY, Wilkov was Vice President of Marketing for the Sun-Times News Group and spent a decade before that in the agency world at Draft and Leo Burnett in Chicago. Wilkov holds a dual Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
