General Mills extends its relationship with The Nielsen Company in order to gain integrated marketing and media services within the United States. The food company is on the leading edge of analytical application of marketing and media information, and has relied on Nielsen for insights and marketing analytics for many years.

Under this extended agreement, Nielsen will provide General Mills with retail tracking, insights on consumer purchase behavior, advanced analytic tools and technology services. These integrated solutions are expected to help General Mills drive its brands and customer relationships in the U.S. marketplace.
