Pharmavite Names CFO from P&G, Elizabeth Arden

Pharmavite LLC, U.S. manufacturer of high-quality vitamins, minerals and other dietary supplements announces it has appointed Nitin Deshpande as chief financial officer. He will be responsible for all areas of finance and accounting including business planning and analysis.

Originally from India, Nitin attended the University of Bombay to complete his education in finance, accounting and law. He is also a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Public Accountant in the United States. Previously Nitin spent two decades at Procter and Gamble (P&G), where he held several global leadership positions, including chief financial officer for several P&G regions including South Korea and Northeast Asia, and later became chief financial officer for P&G's global hair colorants business based in Stamford, Conn. Most recently, Nitin was the senior vice president of finance at Elizabeth Arden, Inc.
