In this session the key project driver of the PepsiAmericas automated merchandising initiative discusses the revamp of PepsiAmericas' merchandising operations. This project provides inputs and integration with both TPM and Demand Planning and is closely aligned with related processes. The initiative equipped supervisors with a field force management solution -- utilizing GPS-enabled handhelds -- that reduced costs while greatly improving productivity, quality and accountability in the field.
